"the dream continues..." by RYUKEN for Chigusa Maki's 30th anniversary presentation

July 10, 2011 Arrived in Kita Kyushu on a sleek black Star Flyer jet with my hip trio : ) pianist Shinji Akita, bassist Hideo Kawahara and drummer Juasa Kanoh.

This plane took much of our attention, couldn't help taking photos of the black seats and us : )

We went straight to the beautiful retro town of Mojiko. The area boasts many interesting historic buildings with recent developments along the waterfront, such as the renovated customs building, the striking hotel and a unique pedestrian drawbridge (Blue Wing) add to the charm of Moji-ko and make it a pleasant place for visitors to stroll.

Tokyo Moon IN STORE LIVE/CD Signing at Disk Union JAZZ Tokyo 7.1.2011

Had a very wonderful time at the IN STORE live for our new CD "TOKYO MOON" - performed right in the middle of the store for many friends and customers who came by to listen. It was a different atmosphere, like singing in a bookstore...quiet, but that turned out to be real fun! We also signed CDS at the cash register : ) pretty cool! I love the relaxed, oriental sound arrangements on this album...hope you get your copy real soon!!
